So, in theory, working while taking a full time course load would have to effect of working two jobs. Hence, time management skills have an important role to play. Course load has a direct impact on the time commitment for college. It is also interesting to note that students do not have to same course load every semester.

Higher education is critical in a developed economy.
Higher education is critical in a developed economy. In most developed countries, education is considered a basic right. Hence the costs of higher education is highly subsidized by governments. This results in a significantly reduced number of students that need to work to pay for their education. The United states is one of the few counties, developed or otherwise, where the almost all the burden of paying for higher education is put on the student.
The Fairness
The fairness, justification as well as the treatment of all people according to their needs that is said to be an outcome of user charges and cost recovery measures is seen not to apply in such cases. The other dimension that equity distribution does not cater for is that of the handicapped.
